Announcement on 06 Nov. 2020

In light of the unprecedented circumstances, and the uncertainty due to the travel restrictions imposed by different countries, the Organizing Committee has made the decision to hold the conference virtually, from 17 to 28 May 2021.

Welcome from the Chairs

Gathering of the interdisciplinary community is necessary for synergistic development in the field of sensors and improvement of life quality. Updating the community on the most recent works and building new links between disciplines enables discussion and new collaborations.

This conference will bring together leading researchers, from both academia and industry, to share their recent findings on a range of topics related to Bio- and Nano-Sensors, Bioelectronics, Chemical Sensors, Physical Sensors, Sensor Applications, and Smart Systems. It will focus on significant advances in the area of sensorics, enabling increased sensitivity, portability, and connectivity. Therefore, the target participants for the proposed conference are experts in the sensors community while, at the same time, the conference is expected to be mutually beneficial for young researchers and students.

We look forward to welcoming you at this exciting meeting in Dresden.

I3S 2021 Live online sessions Information

During the duration of the conference, a number of live online sessions will be programmed. Each session will consist on a speaker lecturing on a special topic, and will be moderated by a chair. During each session, the participants will have the possibility to ask questions during a Q&A session. Detailed information about the topics and dates will be shared soon.

The live sessions are charge for 50€ /participant. The authors who paid the submission registration fee will have priority for the registration (with extra cost 50 EUR) to the live online sessions with our keynote speakers.

Registration

The registration fee for all authors: 50€ per each accepted archival/conference paper. The registration fee includes the publication of your paper in Sciforum and in a dedicated issue of the journal Engineering Proceedings (ISSN 2673-4591), and priority for the registration (with extra cost 50 EUR) to the live online sessions with our keynote speakers.

The registration fee for participants: 50€ per participant. It's optional but necessary if you would like to join the live session during I3S 2021.

Finally, only registered authors will be able to apply for the Conference Awards, and the 20% discount on the publication fees for the Sensors Special Issue.

Participation to the conference is considered final only once the registration fee has been paid. Registration by at least one author per paper, denoted as Covering Author, is required to cover participation and publication of any accepted paper. Covering Author registration deadline is 10 May 2021. Your abstract and paper will be withdrawn if you do not complete the registration by this date.

Authors with multiple contributions: Please note that one author registration will cover 3 accepted contributions at most.

When registering, please provide us with your institutional email address. This will accelerate the registration process. If you are registering several people under the same registration, please do not use the same email address for each person, but their individual institutional email addresses. Please note that, submission and registration are two different processes. During registration, if possible, use the same email address you used to submit your abstract(s). Otherwise, leave us a comment in the registration form, providing the email address used during the submission process.
